View page
US Patent:
6379292, Apr 30, 2002
Filed:
Oct 3, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/677931
Inventors:
Ebrahim Simhaee - Beverly Hills CA, 90210
International Classification:
B31B 164
US Classification:
493276, 493194, 493198, 533851
Abstract:
A continuous web of bags formed of a plurality of layers to be separated along a line of perforations that extends through all of the layers transverse of the web, in which at least one of the outermost layers is detached from the web at the separation line. Apparatus accomplishes this detachment in a moving web by engaging the outermost layer outer surface and exerting a force in a manner to produce the detachment from the separation line. Both the outermost upper and lower web layers can be detached at the separation line.

Method Of Making Collapsed Air Cell Dunnage Suitable For Inflation

View page
US Patent:
6423166, Jul 23, 2002
Filed:
Apr 22, 1999
Appl. No.:
09/296363
Inventors:
Ebrahim Simhaee - Beverly Hills CA, 90210
International Classification:
B32B 3100
US Classification:
156156, 156145, 156209, 53 79, 53403, 53408, 53529
Abstract:
Air cell dunnage is disclosed which collapses for shipment and is constructed to be subsequently inflated for use. The air cell dunnage is a bubble sheet containing a multiplicity of gas cells and a base layer fused to the bubble layer. The bubble layer further includes conduits interconnecting selected groups of the selected cells and a common channel extending longitudinally on the sheet in fluid communication with each of the selected groups. The conduits provide access to selected groups of gas cells for collapsing and inflating the cells for shipment and use, respectively.

Plastic Bag Dispenser

View page
US Patent:
6450380, Sep 17, 2002
Filed:
May 12, 1998
Appl. No.:
09/076356
Inventors:
Ebrahim Simhaee - Beverly Hills CA, 90210
International Classification:
B26F 302
US Classification:
225 46, 225 79, 225 80, 225 90, 225106, 221 26
Abstract:
A dispenser is described for dispensing plastic bags which are wound on a hollow cylindrical core. The dispenser is an integral molded plastic device having a bottom panel and upstanding sidewalls which are biased toward each other and which include stub axles adapted to receive the opposite ends of the core on which the roll is wound. The sidewalls apply a braking force to the ends of the core. The core fits tightly onto the stub axles to provide an additional braking force in order to prevent free wheeling of the roll as the individual bags are dispensed.

Gussetted Plastic Bag

View page
US Patent:
6461041, Oct 8, 2002
Filed:
Nov 7, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/707758
Inventors:
Ebrahim Simhaee - Beverly Hills CA, 90210
International Classification:
B65D 3302
US Classification:
383 8, 383119, 383120, 383121, 383903
Abstract:
A plastic T-shirt bag comprises an extruded plastic tubular form having side gussets and a seal line at the bottom of the bag. The junctions of the inner folds of the gussets and the seal line are the weakest areas of the bottom of the bag. A reinforcement tape extends across both weakened areas and takes up the forces applied to them when the bag is loaded.
