Abstract:
A head-cleansing cap having an outer fluid-impervious layer and an inner fluid-holding layer that is equal to or greater than the size of the outer layer. The outer fluid-impervious layer has a peripheral edge defining an opening for receiving a persons head. The inner layer is connected to the outer layer along the peripheral edge of the outer layer and may also be connected to the outer layer at one or more points spaced away from the peripheral edge of the outer layer. The inner layer is saturated with a rinse-free cleaning solution. In use, the head is massaged through the cap to release the cleaning solution onto the head of the user.

Abstract:
An umbilical cord clamp cutter includes first and second handle portions including a grasping end and a cutting end. The cutting end includes a notch having a beveled cutting edge disposed proximate the terminus of the cutting end. A connector pivotably connects the handle portions between the grasping and cutting ends whereby the notches oppose one another. Movement of the grasping ends toward one another causes the cutting end notches to slide past one another capturing an umbilical cord clamp allowing the umbilical cord clamp to be cut.

Abstract:
A strap-on waste container for receiving thrown up stomach contents includes an elongated moisture proof bag having an open end, a rigid ring connected to the bag open end, and an elongated neck strap connected on one end to the ring. The neck strap allows for hands free use of the container so that the user or an assistant need not hold the container. The neck strap further includes a fabricated stress riser that causes the neck strap to break through the application of a threshold force, allowing for easy removal of the neck strap and container.

Abstract:
A jugular and subclavian access site window dressing includes anchoring and closure members. The anchoring member has an axis dividing the anchoring member into first and second portions. The anchoring member includes a fabric layer having an adhesive side, an opposite non-adhesive side, and an opening therein bounded by an edge. A transparent film layer, having an adhesive skin adhering side and an opposite non-adhesive side, closes the fabric layer opening. The film layer is larger than the opening in all directions. The film layer non-adhesive side is adhered onto the adhesive side of the fabric layer around the opening and extends beyond the edge of the opening. The closure member has an axis dividing the closure member into first and second portions and includes a fabric layer having opposing adhesive and non-adhesive sides. The closure member is adapted to overlie and close an end of the anchoring member.

A destructible privacy label includes a sheet-like member having an upper surface and an adhesive lower surface. The upper surface is adapted for printing indicia thereon. The sheet-like member includes two segments conjoined about a separation line which defines adjacent segment edges. Each segment is separable from the other along the separation line. Abstract:
A self-adherent window dressing includes a fabric layer bounded by an edge. The fabric layer has an adhesive side, an opposite non-adhesive side, and an opening therein to allow for viewing therethrough. A reinforcement member is adhered to at least a portion of the fabric layer. A transparent film layer closes the opening and has first and second opposing sides. The film layer first side is non-adhesive and is mounted on the fabric layer adhesive side to close the opening in the fabric layer. The film layer second side has a skin adhering adhesive portion and an adhesive-free portion. The adhesive-free portion is disposed inwardly of the opening. The film layer adhesive-free portion is adapted not to stick to a wound, connector, or catheter disposed between the film layer adhesive-free portion and skin.
