A container lid has a depending insert having a thickness sufficient to have a groove formed in its peripheral edge, and a beverage container has an annular, radially inwardly extending protrusion formed in it that snaps into the groove when the insert is inserted into the container. The connection is so strong that the lid will not separate from the container even when the cup is filled with a beverage or food and inverted. The lid includes a peripherally positioned handle that enables facile removal of the lid, and the interconnection between the lid and the container includes a double seal that inhibits the risk of spillage.

Water from a fish growth tank is pumped through multiple filter tanks containing a filter media and injected with ammonia fixing bacteria. Metabolic wastes from the fish growth tank are absorbed by hydroponic or sand growth beds. Oxygen content and temperature of the water is constantly monitored by sensors and air blowers and heaters are activated when oxygen level or temperature respectively falls below the prescribed conditins for growth of the fish. All backwash water from a sludge digestion area is recirculated to the fish growth tank to conserve water in the system.

Multiple layers of plastic pipe are attached together. Each layer has multiple parallel pipes of similar diameter, and each layer is attached at a right angle to each adjacent layer. The lowest layer of pipes has an interior diameter larger than the interior diameter of the next upper layer. Each succeeding upper layer has an inside pipe diameter less than the diameter of the next lowest layer.
