Description:
When I decided to become a realtor; I knew that I liked people and houses, I had sales experience and so Ithought it would be the perfect fit. It is, but for so manyreasons besides these (although they help). I love real estate sales. I'm always learning something new. No two transactions arealike, and no real estate transaction is ever "ordinary". Some of the different hats I have learned to wear are: surveyor, stager, marketer, mortgage lender, attorney, psychologist, negotiator, accountant, developer, babysitter and so many more. I am none of these but have to have knowledge of all of them. Couple the challenge oflearning with the excitement of watching a young couple find their first home together, or the satisfaction of helping someone through the emotional trials and tribulations of successfully selling their home, and I can't imagine a more rewarding and exciting career! I was born in New York City and grew up in Hightstown, New Jersey. I graduated from Trenton State College (now College of NJ). While in school I worked nights for Crown Oil Company, and was hired full-time after graduation. I worked my way up to Territory Manager and in 1985 was transferred to the Raleigh area. I absolutely love it here and can recommend the area highly. About a year and a half later, I went to work for AAA Carolinas and spent the next 17 years there in a variety of positions: membership and insurance sales, training manager, and finally sales manager for the two Carolinas. By 2004, I was ready for a new challenge and entered the glamorous world of real estate. The first few years were great! Fame, fortune and my picture on the side of a box truck beckoned. Alas, the Great Recession delayed the fulfillment of that dream, but I've survived the bumps and bruises and am still here today: older, wiser and with a wealth of hard-earned knowledge that I would love to share and put to work on your behalf today. I hope to hear from you soon!

About:
Like many people who decide to become realtors; I knew that I liked people and houses, I had sales experience and figured it would be the perfect fit. It is, but not just for those reasons. I love real estate sales. It challenges me to keep growing and learning. No two transactions are ever the same, and no real estate transaction is ever mundane. Attorney, surveyor, stager, marketer, mortgage lender, psychologist, negotiator, accountant, developer, and so much more - I am none of these but have knowledge of all of them. Add in the excitement of watching a young couple find their first home together, or the satisfaction of helping someone through the emotional trials and tribulations of successfully selling their home, and I can't imagine a more rewarding and exciting career! Within a year of relocating here, I left Crown and went to work for AAA Carolinas and spent the next 17 years there in a variety of positions: membership and insurance sales, training manager, and sales manager over North & South Carolina. By 2004, I was ready for a new challenge and entered the glamorous world of real estate sales.
