Perseus II Underwater Vehicle Project
Department of Defence through the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University
The Perseus II Project is designed to enhance undergraduate STEM education. The primary goal of the project is to explore if undergraduate students, with reasonable funding, could assemble in a short period of time, an Underwater Vehicle capable of searching for, locating, and gathering data on object identity. Role in grant: Co-PI
REU Site: Collaborative Earth System Science Research -- Atmospheric modeling, sensing, and societal impacts
National Science Foundation
A&T was chosen by the NSF as a research experience for undergraduate (REU) site for atmospheric studies including modeling, sensing, and societal impacts. Role in grant: Investigator.
CAS Innovation Fund Award
North Carolina A&T State University College of Arts and Science
The physics department was selected by the College of Arts & Sciences at NCAT to be awarded a computer lab innovation fund for: PICaM - Physics Instruction Using Computation and Modeling. Role for grant: Investigator
