About:
On May 5, 2011, I will celebrate 15 years of being in business. My strategic planning, operational planning, and marketing background have helped me to build up my company and to be able to sustain the highs and lows of this industry.
While working at USAA, I had the pleasure of teaching several insurance related courses: Investments, Management, Marketing, and Health Insurance. In 1991, I was selected to deliver the speech at the Achievement Awards Banquet at USAA on my achievement of my MBA degree to a group of about 400 people. I enjoy public speaking and have been asked to speak or to give workshops on finances to local universities in San Antonio.
Directly after my graduation in 1990 for my MBA, I was hired at Incarnate Word College to teach both micro-and macro-economics to the undergraduate students. I also taught Health-Related courses at Our Lady of the Lake College on the college level.
In the course of my business as a mortgage broker, I have had the experience of being both a mortgage banker and mortgage broker, and I see advantages to both. In this business, I have become an expert on credit restoration and repair. I am able to use my financial planning background to advise my clients on how to improve their financial standings, and if required, advise them on how to improve their credit standing, as well.
From to January 2002 to May 2010, I was the director of the Acolyte Program at St. George Episcopal Church. I developed the Acolyte Manual, trained and managed this program for a period of eight years. During my tenure, I increased the Acolyte Program by 84%.
My goal for Sterling Mortgage Services is to develop it into a premier mortgage brokerage company. I intend to hire five new licensed loan officers by the end of the year that will implement the strategic plans that I have created for their success. The business platform I have created is unique and has a proven success rate.
