Denise was born in the Bronx of New York, the oldest of five sisters, her parents later moved the family upstate when she was a child. In her teenage years, she attended high school in Cairo, New York and then moved on to study at Suny New Paltz. Denise received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's of Applied Arts in Painting. She loved the area so much she decided to settle down here in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Denise is now married with five adult daughters of her own, as well as two cats and a dog.
