Grid Connector And Bait Basket

View page
US Patent:
7503141, Mar 17, 2009
Filed:
Feb 23, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/782823
Inventors:
David E. Leeman - Freeport ME, US
Assignee:
Leeman, LLC - Freeport ME
International Classification:
A01K 97/02
US Classification:
43 4499, 43100
Abstract:
A square-shaped locking mechanism is used to attach a device on a wire grid. The locking mechanism is slightly smaller than openings on the wire grid. The locking mechanism is passed through the grid until indents between the locking form and the cylindrical container are in the plane of the wire grid. The cylindrical container and locking mechanism are rotated 45 degrees, until the wire grid becomes trapped between the device that is being mounted and the corners of the locking device. This locks the device in place. This locking mechanism is particularly useful for securing bait containers inside fishing traps. A novel bait container is a cylinder with halves that open on hinges. The container has mechanisms that ensure that the container remains closed during use and has features to improve grip during operation.

Abstract:
A doctor blade holder is disclosed that includes first and second members as well as position adjustment means. The first member includes a plurality of first member mounting structures that are integrally formed with the first member and are mutually spaced apart from one another along an elongated direction that is parallel with an elongated edge of a doctor blade. The second member is coupled to the first member, at least in part, by a plurality of second member mounting structures that are mutually spaced apart from one another along the elongated direction that is parallel with the elongated edge of the doctor blade. The position adjustment means is for adjusting the relative positions of the first member and the second member while the first member is coupled to the second member, at least in part, by the plurality of first member mounting structures and the plurality of second member mounting structures.

Compact Convective Web Dryer

View page
US Patent:
53034848, Apr 19, 1994
Filed:
Apr 9, 1992
Appl. No.:
7/866150
Inventors:
Kenneth G. Hagen - Cape Elizabeth ME
David A. Leeman - Worcester MA
Assignee:
Thermo Electron Web Systems, Inc. - Auburn MA
International Classification:
F26B 1300
US Classification:
34155
Abstract:
A convective dryer for drying a moving coated web has at least one module arranged on one side of the path of web travel. The module includes a housing subdivided into a first chamber opening towards the path of web travel and a second adjacent enclosed chamber. Mutually spaced nozzle assemblies extend laterally across the path of web travel within the first chamber. The nozzle assemblies are connected by a supply duct to air heating and recirculating components in the second chamber. The supply duct gradually diverges in width from a narrow inlet section communicating with the second chamber to a widened delivery end communicating with the nozzle assemblies at the approximate center of the path of web travel.
