Sep 26, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/669911
Inventors:
David Doolaege - Carlotta CA, 95528
International Classification:
E02B 702
US Classification:
405115, 405 16, 405 21, 405 91, 405114
Abstract:
A water structure formed from a pair of flexible tubes or sleeves that each receive a volume of water and are maintained within a containment sleeve, and including a vertical tube fitted through the containing sleeve to pass between and is separated from the water filled flexible tubes or sleeves.

Flexible Hydraulic Structure And System For Replacing A Damaged Portion Thereof

US Patent:
6481928, Nov 19, 2002
Filed:
Jul 26, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/650265
Inventors:
David Doolaege - Carlotta CA, 95528
International Classification:
E02B 720
US Classification:
405115, 405 16, 405 21, 405 52, 405 91, 156294, 138 98
Abstract:
A water structure formed from at least one flexible tube or sleeve, that functions as a water containment vessel when at least partially filled with water and closed at its ends, and includes a rope positioned therein. The rope is for connection, on one end, to a second flexible tube or sleeve and is for use in pulling the second flexible tube or sleeve through the first tube or sleeve. The second tube is then to receive a volume of water therein, that expands the second tube against the first tube inner surface to function as a water structure.

US Patent:
6783300, Aug 31, 2004
Filed:
Jan 23, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/349249
Inventors:
David Doolaege - Carlotta CA, 95528
International Classification:
E02B 702
US Classification:
405115, 405 91, 405 22
Abstract:
A water structure formed from at least a pair of sleeves from a puncture resistant flexible material joined along common longitudinal surfaces, as by sewing, and include sleeve ends that are formed into closed to maintain closed-off ends of water filled tubes, and including an arrangement, such as an outer sleeve, for maintaining the pair of sleeves in side by side relationship and/or may includes at least one ground sheet for anchoring the water structure.

Water Containment Structure With Fish Ladder

View page
US Patent:
6905287, Jun 14, 2005
Filed:
Jun 5, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/454060
Inventors:
David Doolaege - Carlotta CA, US
International Classification:
E02B008/08
A01K061/00
US Classification:
405 81, 405 82, 119219
Abstract:
A fish ladder for incorporation between ends of a water structure that includes at least a pair of separate sleeves that are each formed from a puncture resistant flexible material, contain a volume of water and may have a closed end or ends for resting on edge portions of a flat base plate of the fish ladder. The flat base plate includes a pair of parallel spaced apart upstanding side walls that are individually extend across the flat base plate. The upstanding side walls each include pairs of spaced apart channels extending from the side walls, with the pairs align to receive flat rectangular dam sections fitted therein, forming interior dams that a flow of water, as travels through the fish ladder, fills between as pools that fish, traveling up stream, jump between, to travel up the fish ladder and exit into a body of water that is contained by the water structure.

Water Containment Structure

US Patent:
20100003081, Jan 7, 2010
Filed:
Jul 7, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/217482
Inventors:
David Doolaege - Carlotta CA, US
International Classification:
E02B 7/00
US Classification:
405115
Abstract:
A water structure that includes at least a pair of sleeves or tubes formed from a puncture resistant flexible material that are each joined to an edge of each of a pair of divider skirt sections that are, in turn, joined to one another along their opposite edges, for installation within an outer sleeve. Which connection of the divider skirt section edges to the sleeves or tubes and to each other is preferably by sewing, but may be provided by heat or adhesive bond, clamping, riveting, or other appropriate method.

Apparatus And A Method For Joining Water Structure Sections Or The Like

View page
US Patent:
50590650, Oct 22, 1991
Filed:
Jan 25, 1991
Appl. No.:
7/646170
Inventors:
David Doolaege - Carlotta CA
International Classification:
E02B 700
US Classification:
405115
Abstract:
A coupling sleeve arrangement and method for joining or interconnecting water structure sections into a dam or other water or liquid containing barrier where each water structure section consists of at least two closed water filled inner sleeves or bags that are contained within an outer sleeve. A coupling sleeve of the invention is for joining the water structure sections together and is an open outer sleeve that contains a water filled plug. The coupling sleeve, in one configuration and prior to water filling, receives ends of water structure sections that are fitted therein, abutting the connecting sleeve plug, which inner sleeves and plug are then filled with water through filler spouts that are then closed. Alternatively, to intersect one water structure section with another, prior to filling, a water structure section end is fitted into an end of the coupling sleeve abutting the plug, and a another empty water structure section is laid over the other coupling sleeve end and the respective inner sleeves and plugs are water filled and expand the inner sleeves and the plug, the end of the connecting sleeve plug fitting tightly against the side of the other water structure section.

Water Containment Structure With Finger Ends

US Patent:
20150308064, Oct 29, 2015
Filed:
Apr 27, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/262758
Inventors:
David Doolaege - Carlotta CA, US
International Classification:
E02B 7/02
E02B 8/00
Abstract:
A water containment structure with finger ends that includes at least one sleeve formed from a strong flexible material that will resist puncturing that is formed to receive at least one bladder formed to retain water, and which said sleeve includes center notches formed in the opposite sleeve ends that separate like closed end fingers, with which bladder fills the sleeve such that the ends fit against the finger ends, and at least one water fill tube and an air drain are fitted through said sleeve to pass, respectively, water into which bladder to fill same, with the air drain to provide for evacuating air from the sleeve during bladder filling. Which sleeve finger ends sloped, as needed, and can be fastened together around a support or can be secured to one another for connecting a number of sleeves, end to end, into a damming structure.
