Abstract:
Systems and techniques for reissuing a purchased ticket are described. A first reissue method that is applicable to a reconstructed ticket is determined to be applicable to a first partial pricing solution selected from a plurality of partial pricing solutions that each includes a fare and an itinerary that partially satisfies a new travel request. The first reissue method is determined to be applicable to a second, different partial pricing solution selected from the plurality of partial pricing solutions. The first partial pricing solution and the second partial pricing solution are combined to form a larger partial pricing solution or a reissued ticket according to specifications of the first reissue method.

Records that have information that match at least a portion of the information associated with the purchased ticket are determined. Abstract:
Systems and techniques for managing ticket changes are described. for managing changes to a purchased ticket. A married segment indicator associated with first and second married flight segments of the purchased ticket is located. It is determined whether changes to the purchased ticket affect existing bookings of the first and second married flight segments. Based on the determination, a replacement ticket is constructed to include the first and second married flight segments of the purchased ticket utilizing the existing booked inventory; otherwise, a replacement ticket is constructed using current availability information for the first and second married flight segments from the replacement ticket.

Methods, systems, and computer program products for providing new pricing solutions to satisfy changes to a purchased ticket are described. A query for new travel includes information needed to determine a set of pricing solutions for issuing a new ticket that satisfies the new travel requirements using some value associated with an original, issued ticket. Valid fares corresponding to replacement itineraries are determined according to a determined reissue method that is valid for the replacement itineraries.
