The at least one control module communicates with the driver seat belt sensor and the at least one passenger seat belt sensor for activating the at least one secondary warning signal to alert a corresponding occupant of the motor vehicle if the state of at least one of the driver seat belt and the at least one passenger seat belt is the unbuckled condition.

System And Method For Programming An Exit Delay For Automatic Headlamps

View page
US Patent:
6711481, Mar 23, 2004
Filed:
Aug 18, 2000
Appl. No.:
09/641657
Inventors:
Daniel M. King - Northville MI
Ronald P. Brombach - Plymouth Township MI
Assignee:
Ford Global Technologies, LLC - Dearborn MI
International Classification:
G02F 117
US Classification:
701 36, 315 82, 340430
Abstract:
A system for controlling automatic headlamps within a vehicle which allows an operator of a vehicle to selectively program the amount of time that the exterior headlamps of the vehicle remain illuminated after the vehicles ignition switch is turned to the âOFFâ position or the âexit delayâ of the system. System utilizes a controller to monitor the positions of ignition switch and headlamp switch. If the positions of switches and match a certain sequence within a predetermined period of time, system initiates an âexit delayâ programming period which is selectively terminated by a user. Controller uses the programming period as the new âexit delayâ for the system.

View page
US Patent:
20130066525, Mar 14, 2013
Filed:
Sep 12, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/230015
Inventors:

US Classification:
701 45
Abstract:
A vehicle comprises a plurality of control module structures. A first control module structure is configured for determining a current motive mode of the vehicle. A second control module structure is configured for determining information indicating that a driver of the vehicle has left the vehicle unattended while the vehicle is in a motive-enabled mode. A third control module structure is configured for causing a secure idle mode to be implemented as a function of determining the information indicating that the driver of the vehicle has left the vehicle unattended while the vehicle is in the motive-enabled mode. Plastic Siding Mounting System

View page
US Patent:
46692380, Jun 2, 1987
Filed:
Mar 21, 1986
Appl. No.:
6/842324
Inventors:
Warren D. Kellis - Troy MI
Daniel King - Jackson MI
Lyle Rice - Jackson MI
Assignee:
Wolverine Technologies, Inc. - Lincoln Park MI
International Classification:
E04B 100
US Classification:
52105
Abstract:
A mounting system for plastic siding comprises an elongated nailing strip from which a siding panel is suspended by means of interlocking channels which permit longitudinal relative movement resulting from differential thermal expansion or contraction. A predetermined amount of horizontal overlap of adjacent panels is assured by the provision of a notch adjacent each end of the panel, which notch is intended to be vertically aligned with the end of the adjacent panel. The same notches provide a guide for centering the nailing strip on its associated panel. Unintended disassembly of each strip-panel pair is presented by dimple-like deformations near the end of each strip cahnnel, which function to limit the longitudinal travel of the associated panel channel therein.
