Abstract:
The necktie is made up of a single piece of material having a front panel area and a knot area and a back portion with the front panel area having given away if forced apart with slight tension from the knot area. The single-piece area displays the knot portion and a back portion to be joined together. A method of constructing a necktie includes cutting a tie from a single-piece of fabric into two-pieces by the neckband portion of the tie. By re-joining the tie into a single-piece with a break in between the neckband of the single-piece tie. Once joined together the necktie become a single tie displaying the knot area and the front portion area of the tie once more.
