Improvements in a cleaning or polishing device made from a minimum of two approximately hand-sized cloth panels that are rotated sequentially after becoming soiled is disclosed. Each of the panels can be visually discriminated from the others by a plurality of indicia, consisting of numbers, symbols, tabs, objects, colors, letters, further being in a recognizable sequence by the user or to indicate purpose or task orientation. The cleaning or polishing device also includes the method of using the panels by following a simple and efficient series of directions as to how to rotate the panels and using each of the panels in a preferred order of use, thus maximizing the use of the surface area of the material and eliminating waste or contamination.

This provides a mop handle with surface scrubbing and scraping capability and includes an attachment for rigid connection to a mop handle, which is adapted to carry replaceable surface cleaning element(s). The replaceable elements can be a scraper, scrubbing pad or bristles or other abrasive materials that can be interchanged or replaced depending upon the job or as the components wear without requiring removal of the mop head and further allows the replacement of the mop head without requiring removal and reinstallation of the elements.

There is a need to reduce raw materials used in the manufacturing of wet mops, to reduce the weight of the wet mop which will decrease user fatigue and related injuries and to address the difficulty of attaching standard wet mops to commonly used mop handles. The improvement is a tubular headband wet mop with yarn strands on only one side of the headband, reducing the amount of unused yarn incorporated into the wet mop while not reducing floor surface coverage area. The tubular headband also eliminates the possibility of exposing the bottom side of the mop handle which can damage or mar the floor surface, coatings and finishes. This reduction in raw materials results in a lighter product, which reduces effort required to lift and wring out the wet mop, and reduces fatigue and injuries associated with mopping.
