I was born and raised in California. I spent much of my childhood and most of my adult life in the High Desert area. All this desert living has made me very familiar with the advantages of living among cactus, lizards, and snakes. My familiarity with the area has allowed me to excel in land and residential sales during my real estate career. During the 2006 year I opened the Exit Strategy Realty office in the growing Barstow market. As the Broker for Exit Strategy Realty I seek to match my clients with available property in the Barstow, Helendale, and Victor Valley areas. By offering quality service to Barstow's residents, Exit Strategy Realty has quickly grown to become the largest Barstow real estate office and has been recognized as the Southern California Top Producing per Agent office. My wife, Ginger, teaches 1st grade in the Barstow Unified School District and enjoys playing her harp. She was recognized as the 2008-2009 Teacher of the Year at Lenwood Elementary. My son, Patrick, worked several years as a locksmith in Flagstaff, AZ. He has recently joined the Coconino County Sheriff's Department as a Correctional Officer working in the County Jail. He completed his academy training as top in his class. He has already received a promotion and is well on his way in his new career. Pat recently married and added his wonderful bride, Bethany, to our family. Together they have opened a coffee shop to serve the Flagstaff community. My daughter, Dawn, returned from serving a year's duty with the Army National Guard in Kosovo. Shortly after completing additional training to become a combat medic, her unit was deployed to Iraq. We are thankful for her safe return in November of 2008. She is now completing her college education with hopes of becoming a medical doctor. Being a Realtor..... Within my first year as a Realtor, I participated in forming a partnership, purchasing a Real Estate office, purchasing a second franchise, and opening a second real estate office. A short time later, I succeeded in obtaining my Real Estate Broker's License. Our office has grown to be the largest in Barstow with a team of 15 agents to serve our community. Currently, we are also the top listing office in Barstow. I have been active with my local Association of Realtors, which has opened numerous doors of opportunity for me. I am currently (2010) serving my second term as President of the Barstow Association of Realtors and was honored by my Association with the 2009 Realtor of the Year award. I have grown immensely, both professionally and personally, through my participation with the California Association of Realtors. Not only have the forums and committee assignment increased my knowledge and understanding, but the relationships I have formed have enriched my experiences. I try to approach each new client with the same enthusiasm and energy that has been recognized by my colleagues. My goal is to provide all the information and resources that my clients need in order to make their own real estate investment decisions, whether buying or selling. While I was pursuing my college and graduate education, I have left and returned to the High Desert several times I attended California Baptist College (now University) in Riverside, CA, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY (where I met and married my wife, Ginger), and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Marin County, CA. Once I obtained my degree, I returned to the High Desert. Later, my family and I moved on to Flagstaff, AZ. In 2004 I once again returned to the High Desert and now live in wonderful community of Barstow, CA.
