An Ambitious Spirit Since childhood, Craig has always been motivated by a job well done. Even as a boy, when he wanted something, he had the determination and drive to take matters into his own hands. At age 14, Craig got his own paper route to save up for his very first car, a 1971 VW Beetle. With a uniquely ambitious spirit, however, Craig ended up earning the money far earlier than expected. "I was the only eighth grader with a car of my own," Craig recalls with a smile. So what did young Craig do? He went to work customizing it so that when he was old enough to take it for a spin, it would be perfect. But that's just the way this accomplished businessman is. Good enough, never is. A commitment to quality and performance is in his blood. A Life-Changing Decision Craig's hands on approach to life has also been the key to his achievements in the business world. During his years in food management, Craig worked 50-plus hour weeks to ensure budget systems, sales and employee efficiency were on target. But as a devoted family man, he was soon forced to re-evaluate his priorities. After careful thought and consideration, Craig made the decision to pursue a lifelong interest in real estate. And it was the best decision he could have made.
