MY STORY...
Ten years into my “second career” as a Realtor, with two grown sons, two amazing grandchildren, and three geriatric dogs, I rediscovered an old passion for sustainable living.
Later discovering the work of Sarah Susanka and her “Not So Big” concept, my personal goal became: “to live sustainably small and experience big adventures, to connect with nature every day, to celebrate loudly and often with family and friends, and to provide excellence in action in my real estate practice.”
An Atlanta area native, and a Realtor® since 1998, I was intrigued to learn through a casual conversation that an EcoBroker® Certification was available. I earned that designation in early 2008, and then participated in the EcoBroker Conference in Denver to connect and share with other industry professionals. When the National Association of Realtors announced their GREEN Designation in January of 2009, I immediately signed up, flew to Palm Desert, Ca. for the coursework, and came home with that additional certification. It's always fun to combine business with travel!
Enthusiastic about living a lifestyle that’s as sustainable as I can make it each day, my home and “meadow” are pesticide and toxin free. I use practical, available household ingredients to make non-toxic, bio-degradable cleaning products, and have destroyed ant hills with a concoction of boiling water, vinegar, and Dr. Bronner’s soap. Through relentless recycling and kitchen composting, there is only one small bag of trash each month for the county garbage truck to pick up at the curb.
Playtime means taking a walk in my neighborhood, heading to the Chattahoochee with a kayak and a friend, to a hiking trail at Vickery Creek or in the North Georgia mountains, or to brunch with the “grands”, preferably on an outdoor patio in the sunshine.

About:
A full time Realtor since 1998, I’m happiest when I’m helping clients navigate these challenging market conditions to negotiate the best terms possible on the sale or purchase of their home. Staying abreast of market trends, using technology tools, and a multitude of educational opportunities allows me to provide the very best professional services to buyers and sellers.
My areas of geographic expertise include the northern arc of metro Atlanta, Ga., both inside and outside the Perimeter Highway (I-285), along the Georgia 400 Corridor. This includes: Cherokee County, Cobb County, DeKalb County, Forsyth County, Fulton County, Gwinnett County.
The cities, town and communities include Alpharetta, Atlanta, Buckhead, Chamblee, Dunwoody, Johns Creek, Marietta, Milton, Midtown, Roswell, Smyrna, Vinings.
The EcoBroker® Certification and the GREEN designation from the National Association of Realtors allow me to identify valuable green opportunities for both buyers and sellers. It’s a privilege to hold these certifications, and to use the knowledge and training to help my clients make informed buying decisions regarding environmental and energy issues. There are many ways to make your home energy smart, save money, and improve indoor air quality, too!
It is always a privilege to represent so many families with the sale and purchase of their Atlanta, Ga. homes. Whatever the price range, buying a home involves much more than the actual purchase. It means choosing a lifestyle, selecting schools, making a wise investment choice, and choosing a healthy, comfortable home.

Description:
It's always a privilege to represent individuals and families with the sale or purchase of their Atlanta-area homes. A full-time Realtor since 1998, I'm happiest when I'm helping clients navigate today's challenging market conditions to negotiate the best terms possible. I am able to do that by staying abreast of market trends, technology tools, and educational opportunities and by collaborating with other top-notch professionals to facilitate the process (appraisers, stagers, contractors, etc.) With home buyers or sellers, the process begins with a conversation. My role is to listen attentively, to ask questions, and to understand all the reasons behind the move, even when things change along the way. I am dedicated to investing whatever time and effort are necessary to accomplish objectives and to make the process as seamless as possible. The nicest compliments are the referrals of past clients! Whatever the price range, buying a home involves much more than the actual purchase. It means choosing a lifestyle, selecting schools, making a wise investment choice, and choosing a healthy home.Having earned the EcoBroker® Certification and the GREEN designation from the National Association of Realtors enablesme to identify valuable green opportunities and to help my clients make informed buying decisions regarding environmental and energy issues.
