Web-Based Financial Services And Products Client Lead Generation System And Method

View page
US Patent:
20080221976, Sep 11, 2008
Filed:
Mar 7, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/074886
Inventors:
Stephen P. Henrie - San Diego CA, US
Christopher J. Cunningham - La Jolla CA, US
David Paul Winterbourne - Tucson AZ, US
Matthew Robert Olsen - Tucson AZ, US
International Classification:
G06Q 99/00
G06Q 40/00
US Classification:
705 10
Abstract:
A web-based method for customer lead generation employing a system of need-based calculators which when chosen by a consumer identify a product or service need without the consumer having to actively do so. The user-specific calculators provide the consumer with calculations to be considered for a specific product or service being considered for purchase. Data entry windows in the calculator provide the consumer input positions for data needed for the calculations and concurrently capture data for a potential vendor to employ in making a bid. The consumer thereby identifies a need for a product or service and provides data for use in providing that service that may be forwarded to vendors.

Room-Temperature Quantum Noise Limited Spectrometry And Methods Of The Same

View page
US Patent:
20110240861, Oct 6, 2011
Filed:
Mar 30, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/076162
Inventors:
Charles G. Stevens - Danville CA, US
Joseph W. Tringe - Walnut Creek CA, US
Christopher Thomas Cunningham - Livermore CA, US
Assignee:
LAWRENCE LIVERMORE NATIONAL SECURITY, LLC - Livermore CA
International Classification:
G01J 5/02
US Classification:
25033901, 250340
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a heterodyne detection system for detecting light includes a first input aperture adapted for receiving first light from a scene input, a second input aperture adapted for receiving second light from a local oscillator input, a broadband local oscillator adapted for providing the second light to the second input aperture, a dispersive element adapted for dispersing the first light and the second light, and a final condensing lens coupled to an infrared detector. The final condensing lens is adapted for concentrating incident light from a primary condensing lens onto the infrared detector, and the infrared detector is a square-law detector capable of sensing the frequency difference between the first light and the second light. More systems and methods for detecting light are described according to other embodiments.

Context Aware User Interface For Image Editing

View page
US Patent:
20130235069, Sep 12, 2013
Filed:
Sep 27, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/629428
Inventors:
Timothy D. Cherna - San Francisco CA, US
Garrett M. Johnson - San Francisco CA, US
Christopher R. Cunningham - Sunnyvale CA, US
Assignee:
APPLE INC. - Cupertino CA
International Classification:
G09G 5/02
US Classification:
345594, 345593
Abstract:
A non-transitory machine readable medium that a computer program for performing a color balance operation on color values of an image represented in a color space is described. The computer program receives a selection of a location on the image that includes several pixels. Each of the several pixels of the image includes a set of color values. Based on a set of color values of a set of pixels that corresponds to the selected location of the image, the computer program identifies a set of parameters for generating a color space transform that modifies the color space. The computer program then uses the color space transform to perform a color balance operation on the image.

Methods And Systems For Monitoring Vehicle Motion With Driver Safety Alerts

View page
US Patent:
20220219716, Jul 14, 2022
Filed:
Jan 8, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/144441
Inventors:
- Pittsburgh PA, US
David Breeden - Belmont CA, US
Thomas Petroff - Gibsonia PA, US
Christopher Cunningham - Pittsburgh PA, US
Patrick Barone - San Francisco CA, US
Arek Sredzki - San Mateo CA, US
Neal Seegmiller - Pittsburgh PA, US
Xi Cai - San Jose CA, US
International Classification:
B60W 50/14
G06K 9/32
G06K 9/00
G08G 1/01
G08G 1/097
Abstract:
Vehicle driver assistance and warning systems that alert a driver of a vehicle to wrong-way driving and/or imminent traffic control measures (TCMs) are disclosed. The system will identify a region of interest around the vehicle, access a vector map that includes the region of interest, and extract lane segment data associated with lane segments that are within the region of interest. The system will analyze the lane segment data and the vehicle's direction of travel to determine whether motion of the vehicle indicates that either: (a) the vehicle is traveling in a wrong-way direction for its lane; or (b) the vehicle is within a minimum stopping distance to an imminent TCM in its lane. When the system detects either condition, it will cause a driver warning system of the vehicle to output a driver alert.

International Classification:
B60W 50/14
G08G 1/01
G08G 1/097
G06V 10/25
G06V 20/56
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer program products for navigating a vehicle are disclosed. The methods include extracting lane segment data associated with lane segments of a vector map that are within a region of interest, and analyzing the lane segment data and a heading of the vehicle to determine whether motion of the vehicle satisfies a condition. The condition can be associated with (i) an association between the heading of the vehicle and a direction of travel of a lane that corresponds to the current location of the vehicle and/or (ii) a minimum stopping distance to an imminent traffic control measure in the lane that corresponds to the current location of the vehicle. When the motion does not satisfy the condition, the methods include causing the vehicle to perform a motion correction.

Systems And Methods For Providing Communications With Obscured Media Content Backgrounds

View page
US Patent:

Elimination Of Distortion In 360-Degree Video Playback

View page
US Patent:
20190130539, May 2, 2019
Filed:
Mar 6, 2018
Appl. No.:
15/913264
Inventors:
- San Francisco CA, US
Christopher Cunningham - Redwood City CA, US
Jonathan Denby - San Francisco CA, US
International Classification:
G06T 5/00
G06F 3/0488
H04N 5/232
Abstract:
In some implementations, a 360-degree camera includes two wide-angle lenses that provide a spherical view of a scene. The 360-degree camera is configured to be connected to a computing device (e.g., a smart phone) for rendering the captured images. In some implementations, the camera lenses in the 360-degree camera are wide-angle lenses (e.g., 208) and corrections are performed to the projection of the D video data into a planar view to adjust the fisheye effect. A fisheye mapping function is selected that improves the distribution of sampling rays to present a natural view without blurred areas.
