Abstract:
A unit dose detergent pack includes a pouch formed from a water-soluble film and a liquid detergent composition releasably disposed within the pouch. The liquid detergent composition includes at least two surfactants including from about 3 to about 20% by weight of alkyl polyglycoside and from about 15 to about 70% by weight of an additional surfactant, from about 13 to about 34% by weight of a fatty acid thereof, and less than about 30% by weight of water, with all weight percents based on a total weight of the liquid detergent composition.

Abstract:
Unit dose packs and methods for of producing and using the same are provided, where the unit dose packs have reduced efflorescence. In accordance with one embodiment, the unit dose pack includes a wash composition encapsulated within a film. The wash composition includes a reverse poloxamer present in an amount of from about 8 to about 20 weight percent, glycerin present in an amount of from about 0 to about 30 weight percent, polyethylene glycol present in an amount of from about 0 to about 30 weight percent, an anionic surfactant present in an amount of from about 9 to about 18 weight percent, a non-ionic surfactant present in an amount of from about 15 to about 30 weight percent, and a linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid present in an amount of from about 4 to about 8 weight percent, all based on a total weight of the wash composition.

Abstract:
A unit dose detergent pack includes a pouch and a detergent composition encapsulated within the pouch. The detergent composition includes a surfactant component including an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C-Cbackbone that is ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide and is present in an amount of from about 5 to about 30 weight percent actives, water present in a total amount of from about 5 to about 30 weight percent, and a particular liquid block copolymer present in an amount of at least about 0.5 weight percent actives. The detergent composition has a viscosity of less than about 5,000 cps when diluted with additional water at about a 2:1 weight ratio of the detergent composition:water. The block copolymer is incorporated as a rheology modifying agent.

Water-soluble films, single dose packs, and methods for producing and using the same are disclosed. Abstract:
A single dose pack and methods for producing and using the same are provided. In one embodiment, a single dose pack includes a container, wherein the container comprises a water-soluble film, and a wash composition encapsulated within the container. The wash composition includes a detergent surfactant, water present in an amount of from about 8 to about 40 weight percent, based on the total weight of the wash composition, and a polyethylene glycol (PEG) blend. The PEG blend includes at least one relatively higher molecular weight (MW) PEG having an average MW of about 1500 Daltons or greater in combination with at least one relatively lower MW PEG having an average MW of about 400 Daltons or less and/or at least one mid-MW PEG having an average MW of between about 400 and about 1500 Daltons.

Abstract:
Stable unit dose detergent pacs are provided which are less prone to leakage or breakage and more aesthetically pleasing during handling. The unit dose pacs include a water-soluble container formed from a water-soluble or water-dispersible film and a wash composition encapsulated in the container. According to one embodiment, the wash composition includes an anionic surfactant present at from about 2% to about 35%, a non-ionic surfactant present at from about 2% to about 30%, and a solvent system present at from about 37.5% to about 80%, characterized in that the solvent system is composed of water and a single non-aqueous solvent only, or composed of water, a single non-aqueous solvent, and a residual solvent (less than 5%) only.
