System And Method For Clinical Order Rescheduling

View page
US Patent:
20070265878, Nov 15, 2007
Filed:
May 11, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/432607
Inventors:
Charles Schneider - Kansas City MO, US
Britton Jennings - Smithville MO, US
Beth Barlow - Kansas City MO, US
Assignee:
Cerner Innovation, Inc. - Overland Park KS
International Classification:
G06Q 10/00
G06Q 20/00
US Classification:
705002000, 705022000
Abstract:
A system and associated methods are disclosed for generating alternative scheduling for orderable administration. In one embodiment, input is received regarding proposed timing for changing a current administration schedule for a substance-based orderable associated with an established order. Based on the input, one or more options for a revised administration schedule associated with the established order are generated. The generation of the scheduling options takes into consideration a policy for maintaining a degree of commonality with the current administration schedule.

US Patent:
20070265882, Nov 15, 2007
Filed:
May 11, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/432606
Inventors:
Britton Jennings - Smithville MO, US
Sara Boswell - Blue Springs MO, US
Beth Barlow - Kansas City MO, US
Charles Schneider - Kansas City MO, US
Assignee:
Cerner Innovation, Inc. - Overland Park KS
International Classification:

G06F 19/00
G06F 3/00
US Classification:
705003000, 705008000, 715700000
Abstract:
A user interface provides a visual indication of the time-based parameters surrounding individual scheduling options for a clinical order. The user interface facilitates the display of a graphical representation of one or more scheduling options, providing a clinician with a visualization of the parameters surrounding the options and the ability to select a particular scheduling option for associating with the established order. Each of the options includes a set of display objects presented in a context, such as a time graph, that indicates a date and time for each administration for the substance-based orderable under the respective scheduling option.

View page
US Patent:
20110077954, Mar 31, 2011
Filed:
Sep 25, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/567211
Inventors:
CHARLES FREDERICK SCHNEIDER - TRIMBLE MO, US
