Abstract:
Systems, methods and computer program products for providing software product configuration management through a time shift responsive to software product installation content, user inputs, and software product applicability rules are disclosed. A configuration engines may be loaded on a computing device, which access installation product content related to the software product via one or more data stores. The configuration engine detects the initial configuration state of the software product and accepts a user input identifying a desired final configuration state of the software product. The configuration engine applies at least one applicability rule to determine whether the installation product content needs to be acquired from the data store to achieve the desired final configuration state. The configuration engine modifies the software product from the initial configuration state to the desired final configuration state in a succinct and efficient manner without causing inoperability of the software product.

Abstract:
Technologies for providing hints for adjusting digital media properties include a destination computing device wirelessly coupled to multiple source computing devices. The destination computing device is configured to receive digital media streams from each of a multiple number of source computing devices, process each of the received digital media streams, and output one or more of the processed digital media streams based on one or more output settings and/or or more digital media properties of the digital media. The destination computing device is further configured to determine one or more performance metrics based on an analysis of the output digital media streams, determine one or more hints for one or more of the digital media streams based on the analysis, and transmit each of the hints to a corresponding one of the source computing devices. Technologies for wireless transmission of digital media include a wireless retransmission hub configured to receive an input digital media stream from a source computing device. The wireless retransmission hub is further configured to transmit a list of available destination computing devices to the source computing device, receive a list of selected destination computing devices from the source computing device, and map each destination computing devices of the list of selected destination computing devices to the source computing device.
