First let me thank you for viewing my profile. I have been a Real Estate agent for 7 years. I believe I have a unique understanding of my clients' concerns, fears, apprehensions, and expectations when attempting to buy or sell a home. No, I'm not a psychiatrist. What allows me to make such a statement is the following: I purchased my first home after one year of marriage, some 40 years ago. I moved from Brooklyn to N. J. and did not use a Realtor. We bought the home in my best friend's neighborhood in Old Bridge, NJ. We moved in just before New Year's Day. That first night I went down the basement and was surprised to see six inches of water filling the basement. It had not rained or snowed in two weeks. Then I noticed something called sump pump… it was unplugged. I walked across the basement and plugged it in. I survived that shock. We sold our house in Old Bridge, and purchased our next home both with the aid of an agent six years later located in Manalapan. Five years later, we sold that home and bought our "dream house"…new construction, also in Manalapan. Eleven years later with two girls in college, we downsized and purchased our third Manalapan home…a newly constructed Townhouse Condominium. We did not care for condo living, so once again we were on the move. We sold the condo, purchased a five bedroom colonial in Jackson in which we currently reside. None my home buying or selling activities occurred while I was a Real Estate Agent. In short, I have walked a mile or two in your shoes. That is why I can truly say I understand the buying and selling experience from my clients' point of view . With 7 years of professional perspective and a lifetime of personal home ownership experiences, I can uniquely serve my clients as well or better than most agents. My credo is "Treat everyone as I would like to be treated." FYI, my short personal bio is as follows: I am 66 years old, born in Brooklyn, attended Hunter College, served in the armed forces from 1966-1968, married in 1972 my wife, Anita, enjoyed a career in the consumer products industry starting as a production planner and ending as a Vice President of Operations. I have two daughters and three grandchildren who are growing up and enjoying their life in N.J.
