Gas And Electric Heating System

View page
US Patent:
20090173291, Jul 9, 2009
Filed:
Jul 28, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/219764
Inventors:
Bernard H. Azrikam - Niles IL, US
International Classification:
F24H 1/00
F22B 1/28
US Classification:
122 171, 392405
Abstract:
The gas and electric heating system has combination gas and electric heat generators to provide energy to a steam-generating boiler. The system utilizes a blue-flame, gaseous-fuel burner disposed externally of the boiler in one embodiment and a flame jet burner in a second embodiment. Electrical heating elements are positioned inside the boiler. Steam generated in the boiler flows to a heating core. The core is positioned in an air duct. Heat is transferred from the core to air flowing through the duct. The heated air flows from the duct into an area to be heated. Controls are provided to correlate the functions of the various components in the system.

Gas Flow Restrictor

View page
US Patent:
20120018002, Jan 26, 2012
Filed:
Jul 21, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/805266
Inventors:
Moshe Shemer - Evanston IL, US
Bernard H. Azrikam - Niles IL, US
International Classification:
F16L 55/11
US Classification:
137 14, 137800
Abstract:
The gas flow restrictor includes a cylindrical body having threads for mounting the body in a gas flow line. One end of the body is closed and includes a plurality of angularly spaced plugs having a predefined diameter that may be the same or different from each other. Each plug is selectively removable from a correspondingly sized orifice, singly or in combination, to set the desired gas flow and thereby reduce incoming gas flow pressure through the lines.

Gas Saver Valve And Method Using The Same

View page
US Patent:
20150027544, Jan 29, 2015
Filed:
Jul 23, 2013
Appl. No.:
13/949091
Inventors:
MOSHE SHEMER - EVANSTON IL, US
BERNARD AZRIKAM - NILES IL, US
International Classification:
F16K 37/00
US Classification:
137 1, 137556
Abstract:
Gas saver valves and methods for gaseous fluid pressure regulation are provided. The gas saver valve has a valve body and a regulator within the valve body for adjusting pressure of a gaseous fluid flowing through the valve body. A control member attached to the regulator allows for the adjustment of the regulator to selectively control the gas pressure of the flowing gaseous fluid. The control member is calibrated with a plurality of marked settings each of which corresponds to a value of gas pressure. The marked settings include a range of gas pressure values that are less than a reference gas pressure for the operation of a heat generating device. The reference gas pressure and the range of gas pressure generate a temperature in an operational range of the heat generating device. An indicator indicates a selected gas pressure when the indicator corresponds to a selected marked setting.
