Abstract:
A one-piece slipcover for covering pieces of furniture. The slipcover includes first and second pouches where the first pouch defines a seat cushion covering and the second pouch defines a furniture base covering portion. Each of the portion has its own perimeter adjusting portion in the form of a cinching element. The outer cinching element for the main body portion circumscribes the inner cinching element for the seat cushion covering with a portion of the two cinching elements extending substantially parallel to one another with a predetermined spacing therebetween, so as to allow the entirety of the first cinching elements to be tucked under the seat cushion.

Abstract:
A furniture slipcover including a slipcover body and at least one band, such as a textile band, is provided. The slipcover body covers at least some surfaces of a piece of furniture, and a first end of the band is fixedly attached to the slipcover body, and the band extends in a horizontal direction when holding the bunched portion of the slipcover body. A fastening member, such as a clip, is disposed at a second end of each band. Also, each band may be provided as an elastic material that exerts a contracting force when the fastening member is secured to the bunched portion of the slipcover body. The band may be located on a portion of the slipcover that covers or is near to lateral edges of armrests and the backrest.

Abstract:
Adjustable indicators for containers and methods for using and making the same are provided. In one example embodiment, a cap for a bottle includes a closure operative to be coupled to the bottle for closing the bottle, a base coupled to the closure, a dial positioned between a portion of the base and a portion of the closure, and a gear assembly positioned between a portion of the base and a portion of the dial. The gear assembly includes a dial gear subassembly coupled to the dial and a user gear subassembly, wherein the gear assembly is operative to translate movement of the user gear subassembly into movement of the dial gear subassembly for moving the dial with respect to the closure. Additional embodiments are also provided.

In one embodiment, a method for changing the portion of indicia on a dial within a closure of a bottle cap that is visible to a user through a passageway in the bottle cap may include rotating the dial with respect to the closure by a first amount in a particular direction about a particular axis by forcing the dial towards a base for physically interacting with the base, and rotating the dial with respect to the closure by a second amount in the particular direction about the particular axis by forcing a button towards the dial for physically interacting with the dial. Additional embodiments are also provided.
