MA, Humanities and LeadershipThesis ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂâ Asherah and Shekinah; An Exploration into the Feminine Divine within Judaism: A deconstruction and analysis of sacred feminine figures in Judaism -ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàthe Canaanite goddess Asherah and the divine presence known as the Shekinah. Through literary and hermeneutical analysis of the Tanakh and archaeological findings, the thesis created a linear outline developing cross-cultural comparisons, while documenting the progression and sequence of feminine divine forms in Ancient Judaism and the reemergence in Medieval Kabbalah.
