I was once told that making $50k per year was a dream, owning a home was a dream, paying for college was a dream, living in a house next to the beach was a dream. I was raised poor, my mother strived to put food on the table for me at any cost, lived in a studio apartment growing up until things got a little better but still poor. My dream was to become the best man that I can be, to have a family..., own a house, provide my kids with the things I never had in life, and to have a job that paid at least $40k per year. Now a days $40k is not much but it puts food on the table. My dream grew, I want to be like that guy making $70k a year, what do I have to do in order to get there? I won't tell you how but I'm making $65k per year now. My next goal is to reach the $100k mark. I will get there with time just like it took time to get to $70k, I'am a man of values, if an opportunity is put in front of me I complete it. Everyone that knows me knows from where I came from. After my last divorce 5 years ago I had nothing. Started fresh, just me and my white mustang 5.0 headed to miami and that's where it all started. Sometimes you have to fall to realize that you are just a person with a dream, some complete their dreams, some don't. If you believe anything is possible. Going through every obstacle put in front of me was not easy, nothing ever is. Most people quit everything when times are hard, if you stuck around maybe you'll see the potential, see the good of things and in the end, you can pat yourself in the back and day it was hard but well worth every minute. I remember every day in the army as a private saying to myself, "I hate this I want out". It's funny how everyone goes through that but it takes that one leader to lift your spir...it. 12 years later I'm still saying this sucks, I hate this but when the paychecks hit my account I seem to forget about it lol. Paint your life picture now, set your goals in life and you'll see it will work for you. Where would you want to be in life 1 to 10 years from now? That's the question we all ask ourselves and we honestly don't know but you will try your hardest to be with the best. Don't quit your dreams, don't let people bash your picture in life because the moment you do you have been defeated by your own internal person. Life is not easy, we all go through moments of hardship but we find a way out, some never make it out at all. It takes that drive, the support of your friends and family. Don't quit, it's your dream. My little brother Michael su had a dream and is living his dream. I told him once to set priorities for himself first then chase his dreams at the same time. It is possible to work, raise a family, be in the army, go to school and still chase your dreams. Don't tell yourself you don't have time, make time. Remember, it's your dream not anyone elses! But one thing I will close with is that a man with a dream will never be denied, a man with a dream will face his fears and not be denied! A man will face his fears and not look back, one day those fears will disappear because a man with a dream will not be denied!
