A game for use indoors or out having a pair of vertical posts supporting a net and a horizontal tube extending between the posts a short distance above the net. A sliding assembly is constrained to travel along the tube between two adjustable stops, the assembly having a tethered ball attached thereto. The posts are anchored at their lower ends directly into the ground or are stabilized by weighted feet. The net include elongated pockets for receiving square rods secured at either end in apertures in the posts, the rods holding the net horizontal. The court length can be adjusted by changing the tether length. Further, the type or size of ball can be altered for different levels of difficulty.

A vehicle theft preventing seat cushion frame. The seat cushion frame has a seat section made from a hardened material in a generally rectangular shape. The back section is hingedly connected to the seat section, and a telescoping member may be affixed between the front of the seat section and the top of the back section to form an impediment when affixed to the front seat of an automobile to the theft of that automobile. It can also be connected through the steering wheel of the vehicle to further deter theft.

A golf putter is provided with a putter head having a unique configuration. This configuration allows the putter shaft to be disposed in a substantially vertical orientation when the putter head impacts a golf ball. The putter head has a body with a flat, forwardly facing, vertically oriented striking face and a flat, horizontally oriented bottom face disposed substantially normal to the striking face. At the body of the putter a neck is formed that extends upwardly and rises above the level of the striking face of the putter body. The neck projects laterally from the body a distance of at least about one inch and above the level of the bottom face of the body a distance of at least about one inch. The neck of the putter head defines a shaft socket that is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the bottom face of the putter head. The shaft is thereby connected to and seated in the shaft socket.

A compact and easily adjusted exercising device useful for exercising the upper arms, shoulders, calves or the like. The device has a base which may be supported on a desk, table or floor. A pair of uprights support an upper bar over which one or more rubber bands are placed. This bar is removable when it is desired to change the rubber bands. A hollow lower bar is held between the uprights and the one or more rubber bands pass over this bar. A handle supporting bar is then slid through vertical slots in the uprights and through the center of the lower supporting bar. This provides a light, easily adjusted exercising device which can be easily used by the busy executive or even by bedridden persons.

Nuclear fuel is employed for a first cycle in a light water reactor and thereafter subjected to reprocessing for the removal of fission products, for the removal of higher actinides, for the recovery of plutonium, and for the recovery of uranium. Such recovered uranium includes about 0. 1 to about 0. 7 per cent uranium 236. Higher concentrations of U-236 in subsequent cycles are plausible. The difficulties attributable to the U-236 isotope are managed by separately enriching the recovered uranium to provide an upgraded fraction containing from about 1. 0 to about 3 per cent U-235. From 30 to 60 per cent of U-236 initially present can be shifted to the tails fraction, with only about 40 to about 70 per cent of the U-236 in the enriched fraction. The U-236 tends to follow the U-235 in the enrichment step so that the U-236 concentration (as distinguished from distribution of total U-236) in the upgraded fraction is greater than initially. Such enriched upgraded recovered uranium is mixed with plutonium to provide a mixed oxide fuel containing from about 1 to about 7 per cent plutonium oxide.
