Abstract:
The present technology is directed to systems for treating medical conditions, such as glaucoma, and associated devices and methods. For example, in some embodiments the present technology includes an adjustable flow shunt and a sensor. When implanted in a patient, the adjustable flow shunt can be configured to fluidly couple a first body region with a second body region such that it directs the flow of fluid from the first body region to the second body region. When implanted in the patient, the sensor can measure a physiologic parameter, such as intraocular pressure. The adjustable flow shunt can be adjusted based on the measurements taken by the sensor.

A heart valve prosthesis for replacing a diseased native valve in a patient, the valve includes an expandable frame structure and an anchor. The anchor comprises a free end and has a flat spiral shape. The anchor comprises a housing, a lumen disposed within the housing, and a plurality of spiral bands translatably disposed within the housing. The valve may further include a valve segment mounted within the frame structure and expanded with the frame structure. The frame structure may be configured for receiving a valve segment.

Media content can be synchronized across multiple participant devices. A set of participant devices may request access to stream media content from a content delivery network. Each participant device can send information relating to the playback of the media content to a coordination server. The coordination server can determine a synchronized time for playback of the media content such that all participant devices playback the media content simultaneously. The coordination server can instruct each participant device to playback the media content according to the synchronized time.

Abstract:
A system for treating a diseased native valve in a patient includes a valve prosthesis and a delivery device. The prosthesis includes an anchor and a frame. The delivery device includes an outer sheath, an inner shaft, an anchor guide, and a tether. The anchor is shaped to encircle chordae or leaflets of a native valve. The frame is configured to sit within the anchor. The inner shaft is positioned within the outer sheath and translatable and rotatable relative to the outer sheath. The anchor guide is attached to a distal end of the inner shaft and has a curved distal section. The tether is configured to detachably couple to the anchor and to longitudinally translate the anchor within the inner shaft and anchor guide. The anchor is configured to be actuated from a delivery configuration to the deployed configuration when the anchor is translated out of the anchor guide.
