Interference Suppression In A Receiver During At Least One Of Idle State And Access State Operation

View page
US Patent:
7391803, Jun 24, 2008
Filed:
Sep 2, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/653509
Inventors:
Tao He - San Diego CA, US
Jignesh Shah - San Diego CA, US
Jian Huang - Poway CA, US
Assignee:
Nokia Corporation - Espoo
International Classification:
H04B 1/707
US Classification:
375142, 375144, 375148, 375150
Abstract:
A system and method are provided for canceling interference present in a local channel signal received at a receiver. The system includes a controller and a finger demodulator assembly. The controller is capable of selecting at least one interfering pilot channel signal that has a signal strength above a threshold, where the selected interfering pilot channel signals comprises an interfering set of pilot channel signals. The finger demodulator assembly can then be capable of producing a corrected local channel signal based upon the interfering set of pilot channel signals during the idle state and/or access state.

G06F 15/16
G06F 15/173
G06F 7/00
G06F 17/30
G06F 12/00
US Classification:
709248, 709201, 709217, 709225, 709232, 707 2, 707 10, 707200, 711141, 711147, 711174
Abstract:
A method and system implementing a process for content synchronization that detects and prevents synchronization recursion in CDS transfer operations. A synchronization relationship is formed between the CDS containers in multiple devices. Then content synchronization processes are performed based on that relationship to avoid synchronization recursion.

Partial Subscription/Eventing And Event Filtering In A Home Network

View page
US Patent:
7899905, Mar 1, 2011
Filed:
Oct 1, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/243514
Inventors:
Mahfuzur Rahman - Santa Clara CA, US
Jian Huang - Santa Clara CA, US
Assignee:
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. - Suwon
International Classification:
G06F 15/16
G06F 15/173
G06F 15/177
US Classification:
709224, 709229, 706 12, 370242, 370252
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method for monitoring events in a home network is provided. The method includes receiving a subscription request from a control point, wherein the subscription request indicates one or more event variables to monitor for the control point. Then a change is detected in an event variable. Then, it is determined if the event variable has been indicated by the control point as an event variable to monitor for the control point. If so, then the control point is notified of the change in the event variable.

Delayable Events In Home Network

View page
US Patent:
8095651, Jan 10, 2012
Filed:
Nov 14, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/271570
Inventors:
Mahfuzur Rahman - Santa Clara CA, US
Jian Huang - Santa Clara CA, US
Assignee:
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. - Suwon
International Classification:
G06F 15/173
US Classification:
709224
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method for monitoring events in a home network is provided. A node receives a subscription request from a control point, wherein the subscription request indicates an interest in delayable eventing. A change is detected in an event variable. It is then determined if the control point can receive an event sent from the node. If the control point cannot receive an event sent from the node, an event notification regarding the change in the event variable is stored such that the event notification can be retrieved when the control point can receive communications from the node.

System And Method For Reclaiming Transmit Descriptors

View page
US Patent:
20040177164, Sep 9, 2004
Filed:
Feb 25, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/374836
Inventors:
Francesco DiMambro - San Jose CA, US
Charles Suresh - Menlo Park CA, US
Jian Huang - Bloomington MN, US
International Classification:
G06F015/16
G06F009/46
US Classification:
709/250000, 719/312000
Abstract:
A system and method for reclaiming descriptors in a separate process (e.g., thread) from one in which packets are posted to a descriptor ring. The packet-posting process need not be interrupted to reclaim used descriptors, thereby reducing the delay in transmitting packets through a communication interface. The descriptor reclamation process, which may execute on a separate processor from the packet-posting process, may remain quiescent as long as the ring is less than half full or there are no descriptors to reclaim. Then, both processes may operate in parallel.

Managing A Hybrid Error Recovery Process In A Memory Sub-System

View page
US Patent:
20230069559, Mar 2, 2023
Filed:
Aug 31, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/462605
Inventors:
- Boise ID, US
Jian Huang - Union City CA, US
Tingjun Xie - Milpitas CA, US
Murong Lang - San Jose CA, US
Zhenming Zhou - San Jose CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 3/06
Abstract:
A request to perform a memory access operation on a plurality of memory cells of a memory device is receive. A request type associated with the memory access operation is determined. In response to determining that the request type associated with the request type associated with the memory access operation is a first request type, an error recovery operation associated with the first request type is performed. In response to determining that the request type associated with the memory access operation is a second request type, an error recovery operation associated with the second request type is performed.

G06F 11/14
G06F 11/07
G06F 3/06
G06F 11/30
Abstract:
An error associated with a read operation corresponding to a memory die of a memory subsystem is detected. In response to detecting the error, a first read throughput level of the memory subsystem is identified. A quantity of queues receiving operation requests is decreased, the decreased quantity of queues corresponding to a second read throughput level. A read retry operation associated with the memory die is initiated at the second read throughput level.
